I have been working at Legal & General Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

beautiful building, indoor gym, great pay, personal space, you can get certification at your own pace with no pressure.

    Cons

Difficult to move to a different department if you want to move up in the company or even make a change. Training is highly lacking. Some departments have DOS systems and you work using function keys and black/green screens. Supervisors are not all certified ! but they can run a department? Employees know more than the supervisors and are certified.

    Advice to Management

Pay for better computer systems instead of ice cream days. Have the managers take all the LOMA classes for there job and get certified.

I have been working at Legal & General Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great people. Can be flexible. Nice place to work with a lot going on all the time. Good for overtime and bonuses can be good too. They also offer a great pension scheme.

    Cons

Within my department there isn't a lot of promotions and also salaries are all different so it's not really fair.

    Advice to Management

Things have changed a lot recently. I think the main thing is to try to treat everyone the same and get equal oppertunites as favouritism can be bad.

    Advice to Management

Keep hold of your best staff!!!

Timed on every bit of work you do

    Advice to Management

I worked at Legal & General Group full-time

    Pros

Friendly, laid back culture. Good pay, very fair working hours for the sector. Many employees have worked there for 20+ years. Able to progress well.

    Cons

They are a bit behind in terms of technology, and were quite slow to make changes. Many people were unhappy with senior management, but I didn't have a problem.

    Advice to Management

Listen to junior staff more, as they feel out of touch with senior management.
