I have been working at Legendary Whitetails full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Opportunity to grow with the Brand.
Transparent to entire staff on success of the company with company wide meeting (FREE LUNCH!)

    Cons

With growth, new positions are created yearly.

    Advice to Management

Keep working with employees to continue the success of the company.

    Pros

    Benefits are available.
The work is challenging yet satisfying.
Every day can be different and rewarding.
    Clean facilities.
Fast growing with potential opportunities to move within the company.
    Product is niche and innovative.
Those working in middle management and down are good, hardworking people who care about their job every single day.

    Cons

As a family owned business, the CEO has two sons he is transitioning to take over. Sadly, one of them is woefully inept and unable to manage people in any capacity. Will not take accountability for own actions but expects it of others. Can’t make a decision in a timely manner. The other son will do well if he can avoid a “Cain vs Abel” situation the CEO/his father is allowing to happen.
If you have an opposing opinion and express it, you are immediately a target instead of having deemed “entrepreneurial spirit” they think is one of their core values.
Fast growth generally means you need to focus even harder on culture, however the reverse is true with this company. They have no idea how to help mentor and foster personal growth in the millennial age workers.
    Profit over quality.
    Loyalty counts for nothing.
No drug testing of employees, which puts others at risk when a clearly high employee is operating a forklift.

    Advice to Management

Any advice would be met with scorn.

    Pros

Work can be fulfilling. Employees try to keep a positive attitude even in a very negative environment. Company has potential, but not with the current management.

    Cons

Working for a family that does not respect employees becomes exhausting, real quick. The environment of Legendary is toxic. Employees are treated with incredible disrespect. Many very talented people have been employed by this company, but can't stick around in such a negative environment. Pay is not competitive and you are expected to go above and beyond of what is asked of you. This place will suck the life out of you, and you will loose confidence in yourself. Stay away if you can!!

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to the people that work so hard for you. They all have the option to leave and may not be as replaceable as you thought.

    Pros

Small enough to get things done, while feeling like the company is larger with its diverse product line. Good people, good product, good company.

    Cons

As with any small company, the burden of too many tasks, duties and responsibilities fall on to too few plates, which makes it difficult to quality work/life balance. The life of a little/big company.

    Advice to Management

Listen. Listen some more. Take the advice of others and continue to seek advice. Don't let the "dollar" rule you. Rome wasn't built in a day, pace yourself.

I worked at Legendary Whitetails full-time

    Pros

Company is in high growth mode and understands the need and is willing to invest to grow.

    Cons

Nepotism does exist, but is a consequence of working in a family business.

    Advice to Management

Future family members coming into the business should be required to get several years of related work experience elsewhere before being brought into the family business. Company has much opportunity for growth, but must become more decisive and timely in their decision making to maximize opportunities.

I worked at Legendary Whitetails full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Legendary Whitetails offers a fairly decent product.

    Cons

High level of Nepotism. Levels and levels of unqualified management and people, most related to the CEO and or Vice President.
It truly is a "good ole boys club"

    Advice to Management

Hire people base on skill set and not based on relation. Move the capable people forward. Nepotism only works if they do not report to each other.
