I have been working at Lego Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

pays the bills, lovely work colleagues, working hours are good

    Cons

no opportunity to grow, bad communication in the company, have to make up for mistakes of other departments, bad management and unknowledgeable team leaders, advisors are only a number and not valued by the company

    Advice to Management

Start valuing your people for their good work, outstanding customer service is very important and ours starts falling apart.

I worked at Lego Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice, bright and clean work place.

    Cons

Very far from the city. They have some team members which is very sneaky.

    Advice to Management

They should just care about the LEGO not their personal EGO.

I have been working at Lego Group (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great product, company truly cares about employees and customers, no need to develop an alternative corporate persona - you can bring yourself to work

    Cons

Some office locations less attractive to work from (US: rural Connecticut, UK: Slough), but also great locations like Singapore and central London

    Advice to Management

Keep the balanced focus on financial, people, customer and society targets

I worked at Lego Group (More than a year)

    Pros

friendly environment - not pushy at all
a lot of fun team activities and very friendly and approachable management

    Cons

Salaries do not always match competitors. It can be difficult to move from one position to another permanently, as most of the times contracts for internal positions are assignments and not permanent positions.

    Advice to Management

Management is very approachable and friendly. They very often schedule 1 to 1 meetings and always hear what employees have to say.

I have been working at Lego Group as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

    Family feel business
    Flexible
Very clear brand values and structure
    Very understanding.
    Perfect company to work for
A lot of scoop to move up and across within the company to find different roles and compliment different skill sets

    Cons

Low pay, however the feel of the company made up for this.
The office I worked in was based in Slough, however they have now moved to Central London.

I worked at Lego Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very people-focused company, with a great product that people are genuinely enthusiastic about. Guidance around how to progress at the company was very clear.

    Cons

Too much travel, low salary. My team was transferred to a different locale, but as everybody left the UK, they didn't hire anymore headcount, so we were left to pick up the pieces with little support.

    Advice to Management

Ensure stronger integration of teams that need to work alongside one another.

I worked at Lego Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Very employee centric
Lots of development opportunities, if you get time!
Exciting times with the Global Agenda
Strong total reward (salary, benefits and bonus)

    Cons

Need to be more mindful of communication from CM, core messages can be lost in the downward cascade.
Face needs to fit if you want progress
Diversity, what exactly is the strategy, promoting employees into senior roles when they are not ready to meet targets.
Some employees are allowed to get away with very poor behaviour

    Advice to Management

They should do a better job at achievements.

I have been working at Lego Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits, lovely colleagues, cool products, crazy Minifigures etc.

    Cons

I'm working for LEGO customer services in Slough. The biggest challenge is dealing with customers that were unlucky with an online purchase for LEGO sets. Especially when a LEGO set is sold out or wasn't delivered on time for their child's upcoming birthday due to miscommunication.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up! :)
