I have been working at Lehigh University full-time

    Pros

    Salaries are reasonable
Students are generally well prepared for College

    Cons

Some departments, especially in the sciences and engineering are male dominated and in some cases sexist.

Non-tenure track faculty are treated like second class citizens.

Bad behavior is not addressed, especially in the College of Arts & Sciences.

    Advice to Management

Department chairs and Deans need to show more leadership on issues related to diversity and inclusion.

Some of the old problems still remain: older professors who don't care about the well fair of their students, some wealthy students who feel entitled, a slow-moving administration that cares more about public image than about actually solving problems.
