I worked at Leland Management part-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - High pay for the area.

    Cons

Working for Palm Coast's Leland Management for 3 days was the most bizarre and strangest experience I've ever had in the workplace. I was ready for hidden cameras to come out of hiding and tell me I was on a reality TV show. I was hired to work under a CAM who conducted herself very unprofessionally in front of me (talking about having relations with young men! ew!), and was VERY rude to me when I tried to come to...

    Advice to Management

    - Treat current, long-standing employees better. It's better to work with current employees than it is to hire new ones. - Offer opportunities for promotion and growth within the company. - Give employees in management positions training classes so that they conduct themselves in an ethical and professional manner at all times. - Focus on improving community and employee relations, and your profits will grow. -...

I worked at Leland Management full-time for more than a year

    Pros

nothing to report of any merit

    Cons

They are just not concerned with "customer service " at all . I have been on the receiving end of repeat liars, argumentative responses , interrupting while I am explaining, rude , will not return calls or emails, not helpful, even when you bring your concerns to the Orlando HQ they could provide no satisfaction . Look at other reviews on this organization as they seem to ignore or be unconcerned with providing acceptable...

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Leland Management full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Driven company with high expectations.

    Cons

Being a smaller company, it's difficult for employees to afford the benefit package.

    Advice to Management

Be more open to listening and consider suggestions by all employees that may be able to improve processes.

  5. "Very Bad Experience"

    Doesn't Recommend

I worked at Leland Management full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Provides industry related training/continuing education.

    Cons

Your voice is not heard. Well, maybe its heard but it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if you have tons of experience and ideas or if another employee is causing serious issues - you must fit into their mold or else. When you really need help, you can't get it and then get reprimanded when things go awry.

    Advice to Management

Consider a decent wage to obtain better employees. Your lower level employees are your client's first interaction with your company. There is a way to get good employees but you have to be willing to pay them. If multiple employees continually state that another employee is causing problems/making mistakes, listen and try to fix the situation. An experienced, good employee should never be questioning themselves when the...

I worked at Leland Management full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I made some good friends and connections. I no longer work there.

    Cons

It is family owned so unless you are in the family, marry/sleep with one of the family members (or HR) you will NOT advance. Its a sad thing to see because some very hard workers who have done a great job there for many years continue to get overlooked, overworked and underpaid. Its a stepping stone if you are not family. They bring in very green employees who are new to the industry and will take less pay. They pretend...

    Advice to Management

Practice what you preach. No one in that company knows where they stand with you until you are walked out the door. Don't be afraid to communicate when you see areas of improvement. If everything is NOT okay then don't say its OKAY.

    Advice to Management

Engaging your employees to be involved in the unlicensed practice of law is illegal and unethical. Having your employees preparing liens and release of liens in-house and filing them online in-house is WRONG and against the laws of the state. Just because you found a family member who also happens to be an attorney agree to putting his/her name onto these documents as the "preparer" knowing darn well he/she is not preparing...
