I have been working at Lendlease full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

definitely one of the more proactive organizations i've worked for re work life balance. I have young kids at home, and i am able to work remotely on days i need to be there. This allows for me to work more productively and not stress day to day. the people i work with are super intelligent too. I learn from my colleagues on a daily bases.

    Cons

not many.. although we're a large international organization, i feel they do well at sharing best practices across the globe. i am hopeful that we'll be able to work closer together in the future.

    Pros

Flexible work schedules are often allowed but sometimes not. Pay is higher than many companies. Working environment is better than most.

    Cons

If you are a traveler then be ready for the worst travel package of any company on the planet. Truly unbelievable how stingy they are

I worked at Lendlease full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Relaxed environment. oFocused on Safety first, then on people.

    Cons

When they don’t need you, they toss you out. Upper management bureacracy; don’t care what’s going on in the field. DON’t COME HERE...

    Advice to Management

Retain good managers. Care about the people.

I have been working at Lendlease full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Business unit direct boss encourages their employees to enroll in courses to learn more about construction safety.

    Cons

In this competitive US market, the values of this Australian based company makes it very difficult to remain fiscally competitive while adhering to their corporate safety rules. There isn't much room for safety team members to grow in this business unit. You are overworked and underpaid. Many of our job sites are understaffed from our business unit. They can easily go elsewhere with better pay and benefits.

    Advice to Management

Upper level management is not up front with their employees and they treat their administrative support staff like crap. If you aren't a favorite of a higher up in your business unit you don't get far at all. If you say safety is a priority, then make your safety teams feel like they are valued.
