I have been working at Lennox full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Hours are standard.
    People to interact with.
    401K match up to 6%.
    Free coffee.
    Gym reimbursement.
    Donation matching for charities.

    Cons

Minimal upward momentum through the company.
Never expected a true pay raise. Annually all employees get 2-4% pay increase, but health insurance goes up 3-5% each year.
Title can change, but don't expect to get a raise to match it. You're expected to be "grateful" for the 3% and twice as much work.
Management is all Old School buddies from original Ohio plant, and don't care about anything except how you're making the company money.
Experience outside of the company "doesn't count if it wasn't here."

    Advice to Management

Listen when others compliment each other, and pay attention to all the projects people are doing, not just what You assign.
It takes a lot of people to make a company this large float, and when 1/3 of your work force would leave in a days notice with another company, You alone won't be able to handle all the load.
Listen, and hire Human Resources that will help and not roll their eyes and tell you to "deal with it" or "not expect everything right now", after working towards a goal for YEARS.
Start better communication between All your facilities, not just the big boy in Texas, but Mexico, SC, and your other testing facilities. People don't care about others if they aren't from their facility, and Your company needs them to.
