    Pros

    It's a paycheck, nothing else

    Cons

Too many to list in 20 words

    Pros

It's a pàycheck. It was a job when I needed one. I really don't have much to say that's positive about my experience.

    Cons

Supervisors advance "friends". Not much teamwork among employees. Company don't listen to employees. Very stressful work environment. Health insurance goes downhill every year. Company makes up new rules as they go.

    Advice to Management

They wouldn't listen even if I did give advice.

    Pros

Decent salary, and the new plant manager seem to want to make a difference. But he has to battle with the club that's already been there for three decades

    Cons

Lennox Stuttgart has a good ole' boy system. Someone was put in supervision over me that didn't even have a secondary education. He acted unprofessional daily. They are not open to new ideas. You wonder why Quality has gone down there.

    Advice to Management

Monitor managerial practices,& act on the concerns of workers.

I worked at Lennox full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Their bad excusses pushed me to find a better place.

    Cons

Used my relocation aid as an excuse to not honor a raise. Working weekends because production was behind, and yet performance review only focused on bad things to not give you a raise.

    Advice to Management

Use better reasons to not give raises

I worked at Lennox full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

For the most part, there are nice and down-to-earth people to work with.

    Cons

First of all, if you want to move up in your career, Lennox is NOT the place. It generally takes people 5-10 years to get a promotion. Management is almost all men, and you're not going to go anywhere unless you're in the good ol' boys club. Ladies, I wouldn't even bother applying... women aren't as respected at this company. Lennox still lives in the 1950s. Also, if you have any issues, don't even bother going to HR for help. They're a joke. I visited HR four different times saying I felt harassed by another employee and nothing happened. NOTHING.

    Advice to Management

Promote women and treat employees with talent with more respect. Then they actually might want to stay!

    Pros

Co-workers are friendly and the office is in a good location.

    Cons

IT management is stuck in old obsolete management practices. The management style is dictatorial from the top down. There is no opportunity for input from the lower ranks on improvement ideas. The applications are out of support and need to be replaced or upgraded. They are moving jobs off shore as fast as they can when other companies are bringing jobs back to the U.S. Salaries are below what other companies in the area are paying and the workday long because of all the conference calls with India.

    Advice to Management

Wake up and realize that you have a major problem with IT management. You need a fresh new team who sees a value in change and knows how to implement organizational change. The past practice of IT management only hiring their friends needs to stop,

I worked at Lennox full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You get a paycheck while it last but that is about it.

    Cons

Horrible Training. Antiquated software. Clumsy procedures. HIGH TURN OVER. After eight months one person was left of the original 10. In my class when I was let go there were 4 left of the 15 hired. They are not going to tell you about the turn over but it is SKY HIGH. Excessively long temporary employment. People were there for long than a year as temporary employees.

    Advice to Management

Try investing time in truly training the people you hire, maybe then you would have a lower turn over rate. UPDATE your software and phone system.

I worked at Lennox full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Better compensation plan than most territory manager positions out there.

    Cons

Lennox better wake up and take care of its existing dealers instead of having an overwhelming interest in signing up new business. Current dealers are getting fed up with Lennox signing new dealers that Lennox shouldn't even being doing business with as these new dealers don't have any loyalty, they just buy from whom ever is lowest price and in the meantime, long time Lennox dealers are starting to realize that Lennox doesn't care about the partnership and helping them compete-in other words its all about Lennox and their stock price. These dealers are starting to offer 2 or more lines to compete because Lennnox is the most expensive equipment on the street and long time dealers have been losing jobs to lower priced competitors with good names like Trane, Carrier, Bryant, Am Std, Rheem...Forget about a long term career at Lennox if you don't make new customer goal. Avg time for TM's at Lennox is only 3 years, because the yearly increase to sales goal is unrealistic and ultimately you will make less after hitting your sales goals for one year.... Also, District manager does nothing to help you if you are up against some major obstacles- uses negative conference calls and emails-doesn't take your phone calls, return VM's , emails or texts. Truly unfit to lead a district-always talks about making his bonus and makes TM's feel bad because he isn't making any money- all about him and nothing else..

    Advice to Management

Instead of looking at the TM's and why sales are down, look at the policies and their DM;s and ask them what they are doing to help the district hit sales goal and helping their TM's succeed...Set up more realistic new customer goals based on the territory and the demographics and populous instead of taking a yearly district new customer goals and dividing equally among the number of territories in the district. just not fare at all.

    Pros

covered parking, fitness center, secure facility

    Cons

old fashioned leaders work long hours and set a bad example, afraid of change, bad facilities, disconnected leadership, no empowerment, no diversity, female unfriendly, millennial unfriendly, NOT customer focused, disloyal to tenured employees

    Advice to Management

Letting accountants and engineers run your company is hurting you in the eyes of your best employees and customers. Find some customer advocates fast because you can't keep your one decent VP forever.
