I worked at Leprino Foods full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They are willing to pay more for talented individuals but you will end up doing tasks of lower levels with little orientations despite the on boarding process

    Cons

Big egos, stagnant, they oversell the company and the positions on interview processes, previous achievements, credential and reputation will take you to the door but inside they do not respect your career.

    Advice to Management

Be humble and true to the values company was founded on, evolve business strategies and corporate culture we are not anymore in 1970’s

I worked at Leprino Foods full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Financially sound. Deep pockets. Great technology. Pristine plants. Good quality products. Strong rank and file employees - hard working and dedicated. High market share. Many big customers. Amazing service level, drive and urgency.

    Cons

Terrible culture. No appreciation for anyone below the ELT. No real training opportunities or career path outside a few functions. Totally top down. Employee surveys done but no real action. Most managers roll it out and do nothing with it. Just lip service. Owner is out of touch and runs around the basement screaming at people. Drives fear and intimidation which permeates the whole place. No one left on the ELT will stand up to him. Continually make excuses for his bad behavior and the "lesson". Totally insulting. Bullying behavior tolerated. Out of touch with customers and markets. Losing a lot of good people but no one cares. Leadership has hands tied. Culture will never improve until someone else takes over. Too bad the planned succession didn't work out. Pay attention to the half completed renovations. Jim didn't even want to finish them and give everyone a new modern environment.

    Advice to Management

Wake up. Look in the mirror. Actually talk to people. Dig in deeper and really understand who is adding value.

    Pros

jim leprino voted for trump. is that a pro? you get a parking spot with your name on it if you drink the cool-aid. you might as well go work for the wal-mart family - at least they will pay your value.

    Cons

same environment as uber or fox news. if you want to be subjected to discrimination or inappropriate sexual behavior this is your next stop. check the pending lawsuits - all public knowledge. the amount of incompetency in the company is staggering. read the forbes article that was released too. it will tell you all you need to know about these bullies.

    Advice to Management

its not 1950 anymore. grow up and open your eyes to all the hard working people around you. the fact that you got microsoft office last year (2016) will give you more insight to the ELT taking everything and sharing nothing. also, competitive price is not a core value - you talk family values but you have no morals yourself. still reading? open up your balance sheet and spend money on your website - its trash - but none of this will matter anyway. nothing will change until jim passes and leaves the monopoly to his family. it could get worse then. apply today to find out.

    Pros

They have good holiday time off, a nice corporate office and a great website for managing time off and payroll.

    Cons

Everything else. You can get access to work from home, but many departments only want you working from home after doing your 40 plus hours in the office. Many supervisors frown on you taking time off. No good promotion path unless you are taken under someone's wing. They play favorites. Some departments are better than others. If you don't have aspirations to move up this may be a good place for you. Benefits are pretty good but pay is average or below.
