I have been working at Leslie's Swimming Pool Supplies full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Love being able to spend family time during the holidays, when enough staff to be able to take vacation time.

    Cons

Long hours, big chunk of pay is in bonuses that are Valery hard to understand and reach. Base pay not enough to live on. Not many stay past 5years anymore.

    Advice to Management

Fix the labor schedule, fix the pay structure.

I worked at Leslie's Swimming Pool Supplies full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

In season offers a fast paced environment, with fun sale events. The swimming pool industry is constantly growing and there is always something to be learned. If you enjoy puzzles and problem solving, you will enjoy this job. Customers come to Leslie's for diy help on all their pool problems, it can be very gratifying at times. With a strong, well trained team the in season stresses are minor.

    Cons

When the season is over, the stores are extremely slow. The team is required to clean, paint, and rehab the store. Also if there is not a strong team in place when the season hits, it can be very overwhelming and stressful.
