    Negative Outlook

I worked at Lester Glenn Auto Group

    Pros

    Employees are very close together

    Cons

They do a shuttle service so if you plan on going out to lunch, forget it. There is a lot of gossip and negativity between workers even when they seem like family. They do go out together after work but during the work day they talk about drinking all the time, people bring their kids and pets in constantly and it delays and it's a distraction from work. They do a lot of training in the beginning but after 2 weeks...

I have been working at Lester Glenn Auto Group

    Pros

As a receptionist, I'm paid competitively, have a boss with whom I get along well and who respects my needs. We receptionists are permitted to request specific hours and days we'd like to work and most of these requests are given serious consideration. The other employees, at various job levels, are approachable, funny and interesting. There's a company picnic annually. We work in a clean, comfortable environment. The...

    Cons

To call out, no matter the reason, it is usually necessary to find your own coverage for the day. This can be difficult when you're very sick and would rather sleep than call around to the other receptionists to find coverage. Advice to Management

This piece of advice is directed to senior sales management: please don't overlook the employees in the lower positions, such as reception. It creates a negative environment when you look over the heads of any employee and a person who feels underappreciated is likely to underperform. Don't let your employees have an ax to grind.
