I have been working at Levi Strauss full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Flexible work schedules, supportive atmosphere, opportunity for advancement and relatively good compensation packages.

    Cons

The work environment can be challenging - the offices and work areas are very open so as to sometimes be a distraction from employees with annoying habits or finding quiet space.

I worked at Levi Strauss full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Sadly nothing.. This company has lost its way - only focusing on short term results and restructure after restructure hoping to reduce costs..

    Cons

Almost everything.. not a good career choice and definitely not a place to build a lang term career..

    Advice to Management

Build a solid focus on real growth and just looking at the bottom line

I worked at Levi Strauss full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Creative staff who really want to do the best

    Cons

There are so many ..where do I begin... Out-of-touch management who believe they are still in the 90's when Levi's commanded a premium Shuffling those out-of-touch management types from one assignment to another. Bring in fresh innovative talent and let them disrupt. NO contstraints....I saw incredible new talent seep out of the company..they could not take the layer after layer after layer of approvals necessary to innovate.

I have been working at Levi Strauss full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Generally, nice people. Great brand heritage and strong community involvement.

    Cons

Senior Executive Leadership Team is heavy on sizzle but light on substance. Recycled operating models and accompanying strategies and buzz words. Other than LGBT, there's an alarming lack of diversity and inclusion in a multitude of areas/levels of the company.

    Advice to Management

Remember all that initial talk about transparency. Recalibrate focus on developing members of the "in crowd" and actually create career ladders and related advancement opportunities for non-"leaders." Quickly put an end to the tired western/lumberjack looking apparel and continue modernizing styles.
