I have been working at Levi Strauss full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flat org structure - most managers have an open door policy
Intelligent people - robust conversations regarding the business.
Fast paced environment - make decisions on the fly, you have to be on your game day 1, but it's exciting
Laid Back - you wear jeans to work!

    Cons

Long Hours - can be hard to have a life outside of work sometimes
Opportunities to move up vary within area - some departments have more growth that others
High turn over rate - this is across the retail division only. Your team will change and you have to be okay with it and be ready to on board the next person

    Advice to Management

Provide more feedback to your team, be more encouraging, recognize individual strengths, develop more from within

I worked at Levi Strauss part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Low-stress, friendly employees, quality benefits for management, generally amiable management. Tasks are easy, and customers provide enough variance to break up the more monotonous tasks.

    Cons

There are not a lot of opportunities to advance quickly, and starting salary is at near minimum wage for non-management positions. Work is repetitive. Poor employee discount.
