I have been working at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Huge firm thats good to have on resume for future. I like people in my area (billing department) and my supervisors and manager are nice. You can learn a lot about all kinds of billing that I didn't know. Neat building and lobby.

    Cons

There is so much work. The attorneys can be kinda mean, but that a every place. We need more perks. How much work we have they should pay at least 10,000 more to start like other places. I think that's why a bunch of people left, because they should pay us more for what we do and deal with. An agency called me my 1st week for a job starting at 80,000. I thought about it.

    Advice to Management

Offer more perks or fun things. Pay us more.

    Pros

Friendly people in billing department, willing to listen to your concerns, reasonably flexible with scheduling.

    Cons

The workload is to large for the amount of employees we have. The company keeps adding new lawyers without additional billers to compensate for the extra workload.

    Advice to Management

    Hire more billers.
