    Positive Outlook

I worked at Lewis Tree full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great Culture and everyone is so friendly. Created great friendships at this company.

    Cons

Very little growth in IT as there is only 5 people. I alone have to that take care of 500+ users. Over extending of resourse, behind on technology (corporate desktops are 5-6 years old). Lot of projects with very little staff, projects are pushed for completion before they have had all their bugs resolved. No training to grow your skills.

    Advice to Management

Hire more staff, provide more more leadership training for managers, provide career path for employees and training

I have been working at Lewis Tree full-time

    Pros

Employee owned, relaxed atmosphere, most managers don't "micro-manage"

    Cons

Not much room for advancement, management fails to see/understand why company morale is low

I worked at Lewis Tree full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

If you like working outdoors all year then you will like this job. Great insurance. Decent pay.

    Cons

Management wants no accidents and punishment is too harsh when an accident occurs no matter the situation. Everyone can try for no accidents but it is impossible when people are actually working and getting their job done.

    Advice to Management

Listen to employees more often. Don't set all these rules and regulations unless you have actually worked outside and not just behind a desk. It is good to work and be safe but there are just too many safety rules that are absurd that make the work take double or triple the time. Not all foremans are meant to be foremans either. The company needs work if they want to be successful and profitable in the future.
