I worked at LexiConn Content Services full-time

    Pros

Thanks to personal feedback and a great mentor who knows what he is talking about, this is a great place to actually learn! Unlike big organizations, work is actually thoroughly checked on multiple levels before being sent to the client.

    Cons

Pay was a little bit of an issue because the company was just starting out at the time. I'm sure it has improved now.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at LexiConn Content Services full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Nothing as of now . Waste.

    Cons

Everything there, starting from culture to the employees. Target based work, even if you are sick you need to compensate by working during weekends. No work life balance. If you can’t achieve targets it will be deducted from your salary & and if you do more than your target , you will get extra but after receiving the amount you will say, it’s better to finish the target, no more extra work is needed.

I worked at LexiConn Content Services full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Pros? You got to be kidding! Ok at least you get your salary. This much.

    Cons

The time you come to work here, you become a salesman whose Job is just to add up to the revenue. No career growth whatever. You don't have a career here. The owner of the shop likes to run it on a "Zero investment, 200% profit model". Read this again, you are just a salesman. And it's your fault, if the customers of the shop choose to leave it. The owner is there just to add to his bank-balance, at your expanse.

I worked at LexiConn Content Services full-time for more than a year

    Pros

A nice stepping stone for better career opportunities. If you have nice colleagues, it's bearable.

    Cons

You shift a lot of teams. Office politics at all times. You're promised one thing and you do another after joining. You should be a pro at boot-licking. Zero appreciation. Working on weekends. No accountability from seniors. All your breaks are timed. If you're unwilling, you're straight up threatened to be terminated.

"Great Place To Hone Your Skills As A Writer"

I worked at LexiConn Content Services full-time for more than a year

    Pros

After gathering my fair share of experience at LexiConn, here's what worked for me: 1. A management that allows two-way communication. You won't feel burdened with anyone's whims or demands. Your opinion/feedback will be encouraged, which is a huge plus. 2. Exposure to a wide array of domains. From BFSI to fashion to travel to drafting content for B2B websites, there's no dearth of work. Ideally, you can get a chance to work for each and every project, but then, it depends on your capabilities. 3. It works great if you have a natural flair for writing. But what works best is having the right attitude and diligence. If you have a mix of these, you will be entrusted with important projects, and gradually, positions. 4. The most congenial work-environment. At least in the Kolkata office, you'll hardly feel any hierarchy when it comes to mingling with your colleagues. 5. No strict rules/regulations in place for obtaining employee benefits like leaves, work from homes etc. But just like pointer no. 2, it also depends a lot on your attitude and reputation. 6. No surprising deductions/changes in the salary and it reaches on time. 7. Your efforts will never go unnoticed. You can't expect to be praised all the time, but you'll get to go a long way should you have the skills and the right attitude.

    Cons

Now, here's what bogged me down: 1. Having to jot down every day's work in a quantifiable number can be tiresome, especially when the work involves writing. 2. Infrastructure can be an issue with the Linux/WPS Office systems that do not offer spellcheck/improvement suggestions. Also, the amenities are very basic- limited to a (on the verge of being dysfunctional) water dispenser and a microwave. 3. Salary is credited by 7th of every month. This could be an issue for those who pay rent or need to bear mandatory month-end expenses. 4. Writers do not have much say about their choice of project, at least during the first 6-7 months. 5. Fairly high attrition rate. One reason can be that new joiners succumb under the work pressure, especially when they do not like the project/team they are a part of.
