I worked at LexisNexis Legal & Professional full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good pay. Flexible schedule. Needed 5 words.

    Cons

Outsourcing is a high priority. They didn't spend millions on 2 facilities in the Philippines to keep jobs in 1st world countries. Upper management is not to be trusted. So keep that in mind. Not sure how I feel about their treatment of Infosys contractors.

    Advice to Management

    None. Beyond help.

I have been working at LexisNexis Legal & Professional full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Immediate manager
    Campus
    Colleagues
    Low cost of living

    Cons

Extreme chaos as people are leaving because of the move to Raleigh
Low morale and productivy because of move to Raleigh
    Struggling agile process

    Advice to Management

Stop the move to Raleigh and let attrition take its course before its too late. Value the employees in Dayton that are building and maintaining the products that pay your salary. Really listen to the employees as they describe the reasons that agile is not working and address them. Show some real innovation in product development instead of copying the competition.

    Pros

You can have a flexible schedule

    Cons

As much job security as NFL coaches on a 2-14 team. Nearly development is done in India.

    Advice to Management

This is my advice to the NEW management that buys the company. The Lexis Advance platform is nothing more than powerpoint presentations made by BS artists. The Lexis Advance Product stinks. The data is in horrible shape. In addition to your initial purchase price, you need to invest heavily to rebuild the produce infrastructure that has been gutted.

Customers upset with sales motion of low-price-for-initial-months/years when price increases 4x

    Advice to Management

    Retire
