I have been working at Lexmark International full-time

    Pros

It is truly the people that make the company great. I have worked in many places and I have not seen so many people that are helpful, gracious, that want to do the best for the company and that believe in it. Flexible work schedule. Pay is decent. Benefits have been good.

    Cons

True lack of direction from leadership. Over last five years it has been spiraling out of control and downward. Past leadership only valued their own paychecks.

I worked at Lexmark International full-time

    Pros

Flexible hours, unlimited vacation, option to work from home periodically.

    Cons

Limited upward growth from a PC level. Risk of being laid off about every 6 months. Contractors are second class citizens that don't receive the same benefits as full time employees. Feast or famine - there are times you are working until midnight and others you leave the office at noon because you have absolutely nothing to do.

    Advice to Management

Communication and career development should be more of a focus.

I have been working at Lexmark International full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Excellent benefits and flexible working hours/schedule.

    Cons

Not really a leader in innovation or technology development so engineering work is pretty mundane and now just all about chasing costs.

    Advice to Management

Look for fun technology adjacencies to expand the business and motive engineering talent to want to stay or even come to Lexmark in the first place.
