I have been working at Lexmark International as an intern

    Pros

The internship program is really nice. Events happen over the summer every week or two. There is potential for AYPT (Academic Year Part-Time) if you go to school at the University of Kentucky, although this is mainly up to the hiring manager. 1 vacation day per semester (total of 3 per year) and are allowed to go to full-time employee events (Legends Baseball game over the summer usually). Paid holidays.

    Cons

Required to do a poster presentation for a student symposium. Company was recently acquired causing many changes to occur internally as far as hierarchy. Really dependent upon hiring team for whether the experience will be good or not.

I worked at Lexmark International as an intern

    Pros

Unlimited vacation time! However, interns only receive one paid day off if working during the summer. CEO Paul Rooke is very personable and great with names. Agile Scrum environment is used for most teams. No formal attire, came to work in jeans and a t-shirt most days.

    Cons

Moral seemed a bit low over the summer with the changes the company was going through.

    Advice to Management

    None really.
