    Pros

Many resources for sourcing consumer products.

    Cons

Too many hands in the cookie jar, not nearly enough focus on the day-to-day business.

    Advice to Management

Know your customers, know your employees, and refrain from knee-jerk actions. Patience is a virtue that pays off.

    Pros

Excellent health benefit packages. Great investment in new software to maintain accuracy and data integrity in both a top-side down and a bottom-side up integration of all business categories and clients across all businesse.

    Cons

Poor communication within business departments and across all specific customer accounts

    Advice to Management

I realize you (LFUSA Managment) are spending a great deal of money to educate top executives from around the world in Asia, but you should do more for younger executives who will benefit from thoes courses so much more given their younger age, their desire to learn new things to help their business and propell their careers, and their youthful willingness to see and do things differently for improved results. Currently the executives you're targeting are too old and set in their own ways and modalities when it comes to exicuting what needs to be done for their businesses. In short you're wasting money on older employees that will not utilize enough of the strategies and practices they are being taught because they favor the way they have been doing things for the past decade or two.

I worked at Li & Fung full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Have lavish office in Empire State building
    - Great medical benefits
    - Good for a fresher as company gives good exposure to manufacturing hubs.

    Cons

    - HR in this company is a dummy. They directly communicate your concerns to your direct reporting manager making it worse.
    - Lots of politics . No growth. Too many managers & directors who are high paud and do no work. Too less middle level people to execute the work.
    - Long working hours; often till 8:00pm-10:00 pm at night

    Advice to Management

    - Company needs more workers and middle level staff than vice-presidents; as there is virtually no one to execute the daily work. Top level and directors only involved in meetings and politics.
    - Teams needs to made cohesive after every acquisition.

    Pros

Benefits are great with complete medical coverage and generous PTO days compared to others in the same industry.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

You need to listen to what the your staff is telling you and take action on making the work enjoyment better. Stop wasting money on relocating jobs to other countries which already failed more than once wasting countless millions.
