I have been working at Liberman Broadcasting full-time

    Pros

You'll be exposed to many different opportunities to expand your skill set. If you're someone that likes to be challenged and likes to work on projects this is the place for that.

    Cons

It's key to be an open communicator. Also there is no formal review process, so I recommend having as many informal review sessions with your manager.

    Advice to Management

    None.

I worked at Liberman Broadcasting (Less than a year)

    Pros

None. There is nothing positive about this company

    Cons

This is from a production assistant standpoint:
    No craft services
    No water available for crew
    No meals when working
Hourly wage, not a day rate
    Unsafe working conditions
    No parking for employees
    No benefits offered
    No mileage reimbursement
Payed less than LA hourly wage because they are "technically in Burbank, not LA"
Lots of nepotism within the departments
Worked 6 and 7 days a week with no 6th/7th day pay
Absolutely the worst production gig I've ever experienced

    Advice to Management

    No. Just no

I have been working at Liberman Broadcasting (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy to get hired. Good place to build your resume then move on to a better company.

    Cons

Low wages, building is in bad conditions (filthy carpets, moldy walls, no AC in some offices),

    Advice to Management

Value your employees a little more and stop being stingy with overtime when you don't pay a livable wage to begin with.

I worked at Liberman Broadcasting full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The bills were paid and I did not live under a bridge.

    Cons

Toxic and abusive environment that is cultivated by LL on down through management. If you can hide in a dark corner and get it done with few mistakes you should be fine until you make it out to the next place.

    Advice to Management

No reasons, logic, rationalizations, or excuses make it okay to publicly embarrass colleagues or subordinates. “Leaders" take heed, it is quite simple but against the grain: Thou shalt not provoke public loss of face in employees. The price to be paid is typically steep. And the act of publicly demeaning employees is toxic, and it ultimately seeps into organizational culture. It is not fun to be a member of a workplace where disapproval means a public flogging. You are failing as a leader when you humiliate employees in public. Whether it’s done behind their back or with the target employee standing right there, publicly humiliating people earns zero respect. It's not just bully behavior, it's bad management.

    "Seller"

    Pros

Has a core group of solid employees that are really good loyal people that are totally under appreciated. Unfortunately they are taken advantage daily.

    Cons

Too many to list, but if you are looking for a place that honors their employees, management that tells the truth, and is encouraged to do so, this isn't your place. If you are looking to belong to the used car version of a media company, than LBI is home.

    Advice to Management

Look in the mirror to see why you can't keep good talent.

Great opportunity for the hispanic community. It is great experience to start your career.

I have been working at Liberman Broadcasting full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Strong sales support team. Very knowledgeable and efficient. Underpaid and under appreciated and still very good and committed to what they do.

    Cons

The company is worse than their reputation..... and that is saying a lot!! It is run by completely incompetent, small, insecure males who have zero experience in the media business. All they know is the company they have built, no perspective or experience to draw on. They make it up as they go. Sad to see, and they are the laughing stock of the business. They believe fear equals respect...., small men playing BIG man. If you are looking to hone your used car salesman skills, this is the place to do it.

    Advice to Management

trust no one, always assume your employees are out to screw you.....they are. Continue to have the inspiring, uplifting, open, honest idea sharing meetings you are known for. Never change, you got this!! You will continue to attract the best media talent around......viva LBI!!
