I worked at Liberty Global as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Excellent compensation and benefits (breakfast, lunch and snacks throughout the day)
Nice office culture - the team took me for dinner twice and to a baseball game

    Cons

I had to push hard to be given actual tasks, and even then, people were shocked whenever I finished a job or did something even vaguely good. They clearly thought that interns would be incompetent. But I did some solid work, and after that, I did a couple of bigger projects

    Advice to Management

Provide a better program for interns, with on boarding, instruction and reward build in

I have been working at Liberty Global as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good pay, excellent benefits (for permanent employees), friendly office, up-to-date technology. In-house café, breakfast and lunch are free. In-house gym. People here are super nice and I feel once you get your foot in the door you have a chance to take pride in your place here.

    Cons

Hiring can be a little flaky and takes a LONG time. HR has too much on their plates, need more people in that department. Everyone has a pretty substantial workload, so if you aren't prepared to work hard, don't apply.

    Advice to Management

I can't give any advice to management, except keep doing what your doing. This company is successful, fun to work for and pays well; you can't get ask for more than that.

I have been working at Liberty Global as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

International Company, good ambient, really senior teammates.
I think it's a really good company to start as intern and grow in the company.
For some areas, to enter as senior you should be really good.

    Cons

It's difficult to work remotely, or at less as a developer.
As a big company, it has too much bureaucracy and meetings that sometimes delay the productivity

    Advice to Management

I think that less "political discussions" between managers will implement productivity of the employees, due sometimes we are block waiting for decisions

    Pros

    Cons

Low salaries are a constant topic and do not help drive engagement across the entire population which leads to attrition
