I have been working at Liberty Global full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Lots of technical opportunities and motivated people in operations

    Cons

Management management and management. They dont know how and who they manage. Years of reorganizations demotivated remaining staff who are also left to do all the work. Its too stressful.

    Advice to Management

My advice to management is to look for another job. You clearly dont understand how to manage and prefer to outsource those responsibilities it to large advisory firms.

I have been working at Liberty Global full-time

    Pros

    - Some people are good to work with
    - The Food in the canteen is really good (though rumours are it will get worse in 2017 as they change vendor
    - On-site gym
    - Money is (relatively) good

    Cons

    - Absolutely no strategic direction from Senior Management
    - Far too many MDs and VPs, with lots of infighting between them
    - Is essentially an investment company that plays in operating companies (and not very well)
    - Lots of wasted CAPEX and takes a long time to get anything approved due to Senior Management dithering
    - Doesn't put people first, with a really poor/outdated HR approach (training here doesn't really exist)

    Advice to Management

Reduce Senior Management numbers and layers by at least half, and appoint competent people for those roles that are left
