I worked at Liberty Healthcare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

None. I wish I could give them 0.

    Cons

This is mostly regarding LHC of NC in Raleigh. Management there is a joke. Questionable credentials or real ability to do their job. Schedule is Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm....yeah right, expect to work a minimum of 12 hours per day every day. Management expectations of documentation and work load is delusional at best. Substandard equipment to work on doesn't aid in getting your work done any quicker, it adds to the length of your day. Expect middle management that have never done an assessment to tell you what you really saw and try to make you change your documentation. Health insurance is a joke, it's an extremely poor policy that will cost you half your paycheck if you have to cover your whole family. Middle management aren't even really managers as they are restricted heavily. Don't expect a thank you for your hard work, or anything else through the year - you get no recognition at Christmas. Your recruiter will lie and say there is a bonus plan...don't buy into it, I never saw one cent of that alleged bonus. Don't act like you know anything more than certain middle management, they are threatened by this and you will never get promoted (not that there is much place to go). This was a great job until Liberty got ahold of the contract. Now they've gotten Wisconsin to drink the kool-aid, God help them.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with some respect, thank them for their work, and maybe they won't leave in droves.
