I have been working at Liberty Mutual Insurance full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great place to find entry-level positions
    Agile company
Has become a more fun place to work in the last 2 years
    Flexible work schedule

    Cons

Not much opportunity for salary negotiation
Very difficult to get approval for relevant conferences
Tuition reimbursement is nearly impossible to get approved

    Advice to Management

I'd really love to see more willingness to invest in employee education. While we do have the ability to create development plans, I haven't seen much encouragement or guidance happening from lower level managers.

It also seems nearly impossible to get approval for tuition reimbursement for further education (such as a Master's degree). It's not really a "benefit" if people aren't allowed to utilize it.

I have been working at Liberty Mutual Insurance full-time

    Pros

Great benefits, lots of focus on work life balance, good co-worker relationships, stimulating work opportunities

    Cons

Frequency of re-org's is ridiculous and leads to a lot of inefficiency and waste, the "chosen one's" only one's considered for senior most roles who basically play musical chairs with each other, good advancement opportunities not what it used to be

    Advice to Management

For the love of god, stop doing re-org's so we can focus on our work.
