I worked at Liberty Mutual Insurance as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

You get Flexible Time Off as an intern, which if you do not use you can cash out on at the end of the internship. Liberty Mutual is really committed in developing it's IT talent with intern activities, etc. The workday is only 7.5 hours but there is only a 30 min lunch as compensation. Management knows you are an intern so they accommodate your skill level very well. Rewarding projects and use of tools that a full-time software developer would use. Lots of innovation for future technologies.

    Cons

Since it is an old and large company, some processes can be tedious to get up and running internally. But they are trying to innovate and be more flexible.

    Advice to Management

Keep up with the innovation and encouraging IT internships.
