    Pros

This company has given me the opportunity to finally be paid what I am worth. I was able to make over 6 figures in 2 short years with this company and no prior experience in the industry. This company has given me and my family financial freedoms we were never afforded before.

    Cons

It is a lot of hard work in the beginning but the reward far out weighs the sacrifice.

I have been working at Liberty National full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There is an endless amount of money you can make with this company!! The atmosphere is amazing and there is always someone willing to help you succeed!! You start gaining renewals after 13 months of employment from the policies you’ve wrote and kept in force! In 18 months, I’ve never did “cold calling”, always called people that I was referred to and always told the clients that referred them to let them know I’d be calling. (Whether they do or not is not considered “cold calling”!) There is just so much opportunity in this career! It’s not for everyone, I will say that. But if you have motivation and have a drive to make as much money that you’re worth, this is the career opportunity for you! Plus, on top of your pay, you can also receive incentive trips! I’m proud to say as an 18 month Agent, I will be going to Punta Cana with others this summer! The sky isn’t the limit, reach for higher!! Work smart, not hard! Just putting this out there for anyone on the line about it, if I can do it, you can too! Single mom, no other income once so ever and been with the company for 18 months...

    Cons

No cons for the company itself honestly besides you don’t receive health benefits, but as for Agents that get hired on and settle for an average weekly pay check from a factory and don’t want to push further and see what they are really worth, that’s the ones that are just looking for a weekly pay check.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you’re doing! Amazing!!

I have been working at Liberty National full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I left a long term career and took a leap of faith and I'm so glad that I did. I could not ask for more in a career. The culture is great, leadership is outstanding and the pay is based on your performance and if you are a hard worker and you want it to show in your pay this is a great company to work for. In 3 months this year I've nearly made as much as I've made the entire 2017.

    Cons

If you don't have drive and ambition you won't succeed in this career.

I worked at Liberty National full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The only good thing about that job is that you can pick the town and businesses you want to go to.

    Cons

First of all, the training they called "the best from the No. 5 agency" was all BUT professional. The woman who trained me had worked there only for two months! Then the agency owner wanted me to LAUNCH the B2B sales all by myself! Nobody else in the office had experience (they said), and as I found out later, the one who has done the B2B sales for more than 30 years did not help! So they expected me to put in 11 hours a day, WITHOUT reimbursing me for ANYTHING! The job was like starting a new business on my own, collecting a lot of data through cold calling. Every entrepreneur knows that this takes a lot of time! EVEN MORE, WHEN YOU HAVE TO OPERATE IN A SATURATED MARKET, WHICH IS TRUE FOR THE SOUTHERN STATES, ESPECIALLY FOR ALABAMA! Companies DO NOT want Liberty National's products because they are NOT better than the ones from other insurance companies! So working for them is a WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! That's the reason why so many people don't stay with this company.

    Advice to Management

Care for the people, not just for your own profit, and how YOU can get money through them as fast as possible!

I worked at Liberty National full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You can essentially work whenever you want to that’s the only good thing.

    Cons

You will have to ride around daily in your car basically stalking companies and busting through their doors in hopes of one needing supplements. You have to talk to hundreds of people to simply get 1 sale. They lure you in under “you’ll be handling business accounts” when all you’re basically doing is cold calling to see find out information about companies before you bust in their doors. Until you make a sale their is no incentive for you. Not even for the training. You have to use your own supplies, cellphone and laptop even when you are not getting paid. This is door to door sales. If you’re looking for a real career do not come here unless you enjoy cold calling and door to door sales. They also make seem family oriented and it’s absolutely NOT once you’re out of training. The turnover rate is HIGH bc they aren’t truthful.

    Advice to Management

Be truthful about the job basically being door to door and cold calling. Don’t have innocent agents or new agents thinking they’ll be handling accounts when they won’t be. If people already don’t have income don’t sell them a dream that they’ll automatically be making sales. This is a job for people who already have other sources of income while they build. It’s cruel to wastes people’s time knowing it’s essentially door to door and looking for the scraps other reputable companies didn’t bother to pick up. Be honest

I have been working at Liberty National full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They train you in the beginning. For insurance it's business to business in person which a lot better then being on the phone. They are looking to try to promote you as quick as possible to move up in the business.

    Cons

Only commission based, no benefits. Lots of driving. No salary. They do not pay for you gas at all. Hard to safe money when you don't know how much is coming in.
