I have been working at Liberty Oilfield Services full-time

    Pros

Hands down, the best work schedule. Two weeks on two weeks paid time off. Quarterly bonus incentives.

    Cons

You will naturally spend more money on your off days due to being home for two weeks.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work of perpetuating a culture that encourage and motivate employees to be and do their best.

    Pros

You get get to the 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off schedule. On your 2 weeks off you get paid your 40hrs each week.

    Cons

Don't miss out on your 1st or last day of work because you won't get paid your weeks off. They say they are flexible but not really. They don't really work with you if some thing comes up. They move up there favorites up quicker and better pay. They tell you some good things in the interview but they don't always come thru.

    Advice to Management

Corporate management listen to your employees.

    Pros

Pretty good pay, smaller company so people actually know who you are. You're a name and not a number. Bonuses, 401k matching. Great medical/dental etc.

    Cons

Lots of hours. To be expected though with any frac company, it can be difficult to balance your home life when you're gone on location most of the time

"Great company, but lower management needs an overhaul. Otherwise I'd given Liberty 4 stars instead of 2."

I worked at Liberty Oilfield Services (More than a year)

    Pros

Some of the best equipment in the oil industry I've seen in my 4 years in the oilfield. Equipment operators take care of their equipment. The HR department is very caring and addresses problems that arise quickly and efficiently. Liberty matches your 401K immediately instead of a year later, like most employers. That is nice.

    Cons

Lower Managment in the maintenance field recognizes and promotes you not based on knowledge or work ethic, but based on who you know. Terminations have been more prevalent , without warning or prior write ups. This is bad business even in a state( Colorado ) that is an "at will state". You are treated not based on professional experience but personal preference.

    Advice to Management

Dig deeper and hold managers/leads accountable in the maintenance department if you expect to be the best darn frac company, period. Just saying.

  7. "Great Company"

I have been working at Liberty Oilfield Services (More than a year)

    Pros

Strong company. Growing during this oilfield downturn while other companies are folding. Good company to work for. They are striving to keep everyone employed as long as possible during this downturn, and have done a good job at making the cutbacks easier to swallow.

    Cons

Being a smaller servicing company, there is far less recourse for problem resolution than with larger companies.

    Advice to Management

Continue to keep in mind that your employees are your single biggest asset, and treat them like gold. They will, in return, give 110% and continue to make Liberty the best *darn* frac company!

I worked at Liberty Oilfield Services full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people are fantastic. friendly; the break area has shuffleboard where people play in tournaments as a means for team-building, communications-building. Employer provides many healthy snacks, drinks for employees to maintain energy, and even have 4 beers on tap for happy hours! They provide bus pass or parking access, and free access to a small on-site gym (different floor, provided by building management).

    Cons

Small company so salary is not as good as larger companies, and some benefits are lacking. Was impressed by their benefits for a small company though - in comparison with other companies their size, they do have more, but when coming from a much larger company, realized how much more the larger company could afford to give their employees.

    Advice to Management

Communicate more frequently with new employees, and trust what they say - not everything is as it seems, and employees that have been there longer may not always be up front or take responsibility for their own errors. If there is a discrepancy, take more time to find out what is really going on. Also, train new employees better - frac fluids known as many different names - that is the main thing that will slow down a new person not familiar with the trademarked names, industry/field verbage.

    Pros

Great company, good people, schedule, great experience health benefits, the two on two off schedule is great almost unheard of.

    Cons

Best piece of advice is to start with another Frac Co. get all the experience you can( minimum 1-2years) then go to liberty. They DONT give raises no matter what you learn or achieve what you start at is what you stay at.

    Advice to Management

Instead of hiring experienced hands at a higher wage(understandably given the market) give the guys that started with no experience still at bottom dollar running all your core equipment a raise and they'll step there game up! Then you won't have to hire as many. That's THE only complaint among liberty!

    Pros

Liberty is like no other company in this industry. Management has a passion for people that is rare. Great benefits, and they treat each of us like we are family. I came from a competitor and was blown away at the culture here. I can't say enough good.

    Cons

I don't have anything negative to report.

    Advice to Management

Thank you management, for truly caring about your employees and their families.
