    Pros

LPT-Tampa is a tremendous place to work. Hard working people with the right work/life balance minded atmosphere is what makes this an ideal place to work. The environment is very much flexible with the expectation that everyone will step up and pull their own weight. Ideal work environment. I was only there a short time because my husband's job moved us out of the area.

    Cons

Was there such a short time, i have no cons to list.

I worked at Liberty Property Trust full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good money, good benefits, good IT team, very active in community, some events were run when I got to go (i was a peon so I usually had to stay behind and work while everyone else partied)

    Cons

Long hours, too many office cliques and drama, everyone looks out for themselves, you have to dress like your going to a wedding, very stressful. The job made me physically I'll.

    Advice to Management

Show compassion to employees. Don't assume that everyone know what is expected of them if it not communicated

    Pros

Decent salary, but you have to work, work, WORK for it

    Cons

Mismanaged, unethical, self serving, underhanded, don't care about tenants, just themselves

    Advice to Management

Quit catering to those who are just along for the ride and look at the true workers

I worked at Liberty Property Trust full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

This company has a great team of intelligent people running it. Corporate preaches integrity and it seems the branches follow. The Carolinas office has a small group of fun-loving people who enjoy team building events and developing relationships with co-workers, vendors and tenants. Local management truly cares about employees.

    Cons

When I left, a year ago, they were undergoing a difficult transition of selling off office parks and buying industrial. This created a lot of extra work and they were short staffed so it was challenging. Being a public company made for a lot of bureaucratic policies and procedures, which was a bit overwhelming.

    Advice to Management

More foresight and temporary staff-up during high volume transitions.

    Pros

Company has integrity. Benefits are good, but they have been slowly chipping away at them. They have a strong committment to technology and sustainability.

    Cons

Most managers have been around 15+ years. They seem to be much more concerned with themselves then actually managing, mentoring or training their staff. There is very little room for growth.

I worked at Liberty Property Trust full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great people in well run company with a good vision of the future. Good job growth potential, with exposure to cross responsibilities. Good communication within different departments and disciplines. Everyone is always willing to help regardless of how small the need. Good environment for independent thinking.

    Cons

Need better communication with employees in terms of what is expected; routine feedback on job performance and what is expected.

    Advice to Management

Better communication with lower ranked employees. Do not assume they can read your mind.
