I worked at Libra Internet Bank (Less than a year)

    Pros

Worked as a Sales rep and was able to get into top 15 sales after 10 months. Small teams but united for the greater good. I liked everything there!

    Cons

Small compared to other banks but the compensation was higher.

    Pros

    None, none, none, none, none

    Cons

Unprofessional team, lies about bonuses, a lot of conditions to get them. whatever you do is very hard to reach target

    Advice to Management

Change all the management and directors. They are all hand in hand covering themselves and taking advantage on the hard work made by us.

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Libra Internet Bank full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great people, very helpful. The hiring process takes between one and two weeks, quite fast. They have good internship program. If you work very hard you will get promoted very fast

    Cons

Too much politics. You have to take breaks with people that smoke just to be in the loop. Hate that thing since i m not a smoker and find it not fair for the other. You will have to be quite pushy with management to get heard.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to the people that do all the work and not to those who smile and bring you coffee. You will lose important and very hard working people because of the politics.

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Libra Internet Bank full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

HR - initials interviews are ok, the tests are quite relevant and people from HR will assist you if you have some administrative problems.

Procedures - many administrative parts are well covered (e.g. paper work is done very efficiently, technical support people are very supportive)

Colleagues - most of the colleagues are OK, but if you stay longer than one year, you will see that most of them will change, especially the most interesting ones.

Location - somewhere in Crangasi, near the subway station, so it is rather easy to get there.

Career path - good for starters, as it is allowed to work part-time and have flexible hours (students only and for a limited time).

    Cons

Benefits - the only benefit consists of meal tickets.

Training / development - do not exist. If you are a junior member of the team, it will be very hard to learn something in a formal way. Peer-review (code-review for coders) is very limited, as it can be performed by people who barely touched that technology.

Mentoring - is almost non-existent and is hardly discouraged as it is seen as a waste of time.

Reward / recognition - most of the times, deadlines are set so they can never be achieved. Most of the times, management will make clear to you that deadlines are not met because you are not efficient enough.

Company culture - The accent is put on working very much, not choosing efficient methods (which involves more time for thinking before-head).

Company structure - the "normal" employee / manager count ratio is OK, but some team roles are missing: business analysts are considered overhead, project managers lack advance management knowledge (no solid planning is performed), coaching is a quality that does not exist.

Working conditions - the computers are modest, the only upgrades being performed by the employees from their own pockets. Technical support and other IT teams share the same room, so earphones are a must.

I have been working at Libra Internet Bank full-time

    Pros

An enviroment less formal comparing to other banks, chance to learn many things in different areas, some nice people to work with

    Cons

The salaries are smaller comparing to other banks (for the high and middle management positions, the salaries are decent), less trainings and free team buildings offered by the employer, not the perfect work-life balance

    Advice to Management

Maybe to improve the cons above

I worked at Libra Internet Bank full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very good place for a student to start in this field.

    Cons

Lack of professionalism sometimes in the way of solving problems. The fact that changes employees very often is a minus also.
