      Pros

I get to work with some of the best co workers and get to know some of the best residents as well.

      Cons

Being short staffed and everyone getting mad at you when stuff isnt getting finished. It is mentally draining, and no one will ever understand if they have never been on the hall, or had to do CNA work before.

      Pros

Years and years of experience. Staff who know how to care for the residents/patients of long term/skilled nursing care.. you will learn how to navigate the healthcare system as social worker here.

      Cons

It is not keeping up with today’s technology nor the ever changing dramatically shifting way people are looking at people’s well-being. Instead of being paperless they still have hybrid chart system. They are still very medical driven instead of looking at the whole person well being. Mangers are lacking skill set of management yet are put in rolls because of seniority.
