I have been working at Life Care Centers of America full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The rehab and nursing team work together to provide customer service.

    Cons

High productivity requirements placed on rehab staff but not the rest of the facility staff, which makes a tense work environment and decreases the overall quality of care to residents.

    Advice to Management

Focus on quality of care vs productivity requirements to allow rehab to provide better service to residents. Don’t require your nurse assistants to work double shifts that run for 4 days straight with no weekends off. Caregiver burnout is a real issue and it leads to High turnover.

I worked at Life Care Centers of America full-time

    Pros

A paycheck. Very kind, but undervalued workers

    Cons

Poor upper-level management. Patient care consistently suffers in order to make budgets. Terrible culture within business structure. Lowest pay in SNF industry. Will make you work far more hours than your salary pay requires or is needed. Management will cut staff and positions in order to save more money, but will add hours to salary members without compensation.

    Pros

Loved seeing and talking to the residents.

    Cons

Horrible Management team who let's slacker employees get away with everything and getting rid if good employees who got tired if it. Management team will also talk badly of employees behind their backs to the employees coworkers in the same department. Worst management team and facility I've ever had the displeasure of working in.

    Advice to Management

    Resign
