I worked at Life Choice Hospice (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay is negotiable or was at the time I worked there. Worked with an excellent CNA staff, and also great patients. Advancement is available, but I wouldn't recommend advancing at that company. At the time the orientation staff was excellent and really focused on each individual's need.

    Cons

Horrible and incompetent managers . Over worked staff. Rules varied depending on the person. Intake staff were rude, entitled, not flexible or understanding, and had favorites. Benefits extremely high for a family, cheaper for single employees. No equal/good work life balance.

    Advice to Management

Company over-ride which is currently taking place, but I doubt that is currently fixing the problem.

Upper management was great to work with. Arrived to fix issues and ensure quality care was delivered.

I have been working at Life Choice Hospice full-time (More than a year)

    Cons

Does not pay well. High turnover rate. Puts a lot of mileage on your vehicle within months. Changed the atmosphere of the company when they took over.

I worked at Life Choice Hospice full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I enjoyed helping families and patients. I enjoyed most of the people I worked for and with.

    Cons

It was hard to convince others to use LifeChoice when there was so much turnover of LPNs and RNs.

    Advice to Management

Figure out why high quality people are leaving and do what needs to be done to keep them.
