I worked at Life-Skills as an intern (Less than a year)
Great Company that really helps people
A few really meaningful projects
Lots of Busy Work everyday
Liked helping people with developmental disabilities
bad management, low pay, bad on residents rights, if they do something conceived as wrong they take their soda or coffe away
being able to assist the individuals with their daily living skills
co-workers on my shift are great, we help each other out in order to complete all tasks on time.
the company has a great benefits package which includes health, dental and vision. You start off with 1 week paid vacation and beginning of 2nd year you have 2 weeks and after 3 years you accumulate 4 weeks paid vacation.
lack of communication between shifts
Advice to Management
