    Pros

Great company that was innovative with a genuine commitment to making the world a better place and in letting it employees know that each and everyone of us were a key player in that goal.

    Cons

The company was acquired and quickly started loosing some of the culture that I grew to know and love.

I have been working at Life Technologies as an intern

    Pros

Highly driven environment, cutting edge technology and science. Will learn to think and solve problems in creative ways, and you get to use great equipment

    Cons

Site is a bit small, not that fun of an area. Not really much to do in Guilford, so if you are an intern, go to nearby places like New Haven.

I worked at Life Technologies as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Wonderful environment, work load and outcome were clearly defined. Had wonderful exposure as an Intern to work and apply my skill set with minimum intervention.

    Cons

None really, coz I stayed here for just 3 months, and had an amazing boss. Compensation was good especially given that I was an intern. I wish I could extend my internship or got to go back and gain more exposure on other projects.
