I worked at Life Uniform full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I was apart of a fantastic team. I had the chance to go help out other locations as well as help open other stores.

    Cons

I worked at Life Uniform full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

People at store level great to work with. Worked well as a team. Flexible hours. Rotated morning, afternoon and closing shifts. The manager was good.

    Cons

Work by yourself about 80% or more of the time. Not a lot of hours. Your by yourself and are required to help each customer on a one on one bases, but you still held accountable for getting freight processed, ticketed, steamed, hung and put away. They have Secret Shoppers and you are held accountable for the Secret Shoppers experience too. So needless to say when you're by yourself something is not going to get done. Home office management seems to have their own negative agenda, if they don't like you they find a way to get rid of you.

    Advice to Management

Home office management needs to reevaluate policies. You don't need to like people as long as they do their job.

I worked at Life Uniform part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

good co-workers, great manager, good training, interacting with customers, good products

    Cons

Rude customers, out-dated computer/register system, pressured goals, bothering customers while they are in the dressing room

    Advice to Management

Don't be so harsh with the secret shopper reports--everyone tries very hard to do everything that is asked of them but sometimes there are just too many people in the store to hit all of the points on the secret shopper forms
