I have been working at Life's WORC full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Life’s WORC is such a great place to work. They do more than most agencies for their employees and the people we support. A pleasant atmosphere where good ideas are rewarded!

    Cons

    Parking is always a challenge.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. There is lots of change in the field, keep working hard to keep us great.

I worked at Life's WORC full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Used to be a great place to be ....... not anymore

    Cons

Overworked, horrible turnover, CEO has no clue what staff do, should spend sometime in the homes, management are overworked, upper management need to get off their high horse and remember who does the work that pays their 3 figure salary, promotions are ridicolous, people get promoted who shouldn’t, people get terminated who shouldn’t but the ones running programs are useless and aren’t held accountable,

    Advice to Management

Remember the core values, whole place is downhill. Used to be known as the place to work, not now! Don’t go there!!!

I have been working at Life's WORC full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

This agency used to be a great place to work. Now the new CEO is clueless, overworking staff, misusing company budgets and tipping off the state.

    Cons

Basically everything. Company culture is non existent here if your non senior management forget any proper treatment you’ll be working long hours and making nothing after all is said and done.

    Advice to Management

Hire more staff and kill time in the field

I worked at Life's WORC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent pay; flexibility. Loving staff in the field but this is lost once they go to main office.

    Cons

Lack of leadership, lots of office gossip, and stabbing in back. If you see something and say something, you are punished in a way of putting back on you in the form of more work. The culture is too give out "Titles" to upper management so that they will feel empowered to become bullies. Out of touch with what is going on in the field.

    Advice to Management

In order to make necessary changes, upper management needs to stop with the bullying and spend more time in the field. Training needs realistic improvement; and QA/IRC needs to make realistic recommendations and stop pointing fingers. The individuals are the reason they all have a job and I believe this is forgotten most of the time. Constructive criticism should be welcomed; stop saying Life's Worc is the best in the field because you're not.
