I have been working at Life's WORC full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Life's WORC gives the best quality care to it's individuals and treat their employees great!!

    Cons

I really don't have anything to complain about!

    Advice to Management

I think Management does a great job ... that's why employee's are so happy and the individuals we support receive the best care! It trickles down from the top! CEO needs to be updated below to Janet Koch, since I couldn't rate her below, she gets a thumbs up!

I have been working at Life's WORC full-time

    Pros

This really is the best place to work. I'm baffled by some of the negative reviews because this job is great. I feel appreciated by management and the work we do is so important. I refer everyone I know to come work here.

    Cons

Really nothing. The job is challenging, but so personally rewarding.

    Advice to Management

Please continue the appreciation! Love the recognition programs, holiday parties, family days, t-shirts and other Life's WORC stuff you give out! I'm proud to work here.

I have been working at Life's WORC full-time

    Pros

Love the culture and the supportive feel. Life's WORC cares about its employees and it shows. I love the people we support and I feel like we have it good. Benefits are terrific.

    Cons

Sometimes when a coworker isn't a right fit, they get upset and say untrue things. This is a really great place to work. We have holiday parties and family days and I got a bonus every year I have worked here!

    Advice to Management

    None

    Pros

The children. It is not their fault that this place is a joke. I hope no one ever gets hurt one day.

    Cons

The center for autism is a nightmare. Management gossips daily and stabs each other in the back. There are no organizational skills it's a free for all. Director lacked social skills herself and was evil. It's dangerous for the children and they are just thrown into rooms to fend for themselves with overworked exhausted staff who get paid nothing. They care about how everything looks on the outside and sell a fake service. When in reality this place should be shut down. I hope the state steps in and catches the greedy evil management.

    Advice to Management

Best thing they could have done was get rid of the director and they did

I worked at Life's WORC full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The parking, the office, close to major parkways, breakroom

    Cons

I was hospitalized because of this job. It's a nonprofit organization so they never have enough man power to run the place. You'll be drawn in about how they give spot award incentives, good benefits, employee recognition but really this place is a mad house. You'll actually easily do 11 hour days here and still have enough work to take home. Don't finish? You're out and it's happened to people there for 10-15 years. Management doesn't care. You will spend all your time on the phone with clients almost like a call center agent. You eay lunch at eat the environment is get the work done at all costs. I became so hungry and tired that I need treatment. Do not do it to yourself look elsewhere.

    Advice to Management

Merge with another organization. Maybe then you'll know what to do. Hire more people we need more staff!!!!

I have been working at Life's WORC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

This Company really cares about not only the People they support but also there Staff. This is honestly the first job I've had where I truly enjoy going to work, I love the work that I do and the team that I work with. The Agency really tries to make employees engaged and excited about the work that they do. This is a place where you can move up and grow. They love to promote within and even have a professional development program for staff.

    Cons

    Better Parking at Main office.
