    Pros

People are well taken care of. Staff are treated with respect and valued. When there’s a problem, all hands on deck including Sr. Management. People genuinely care

    Cons

Parking can be a challenge but it’s doable

    Pros

flexible workplace, people are dedicated to helping the people served by the agency

    Cons

staff morale was really bad, no one seemed to know who to trust, benefits get slashed year after year, they oversell their benefits package, many upper managers are only in their position because of longevity and not effectiveness

I worked at Life's WORC full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Great PTO package, incentive programs for employees. Truly cares for the individuals they serve and their rights.

    Cons

Many changes have happened over the last few years that created a downfall in morale. Trainings are not at the same level as other organizations that serve the same population, and the organization as a whole is very reactive rather than proactive. Many people are being pulled from their positions and transferred to other positions or programs without expressing any interest of taking their career a different route. Pay is sub-par, but DSP's deserve more. There used to be smiling faces in the hallways, and now everyone looks miserable when you pass by. The fish philosophy is no longer followed or appreciated.
