I worked at LifeLock full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Excellent benefits and pay. Room for growth, but only if you have the right manager. Flexible work/life balance.

    Cons

Managers and the "Good Ol' Boys" club, make it hard to get bonuses. There's no consistency among any of them. They also have no issues giving one person all of the workload.

    Advice to Management

VP and up, you need to make things consistent with all managers and ensure they have the willpower to hold themselves to it.

I have been working at LifeLock full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    -Company Culture is AMAZING!
    -Super fun place to work
    -Great career advancement opportunities
-Free lunch (though that will end soon with the merge)
    -Close to public transit
-Educational reimbursement $5k annually towards your ongoing education
    -Work from home privlidges

    Cons

Since the merge with software security giant Symantec, there is a ton of anxiety felt in the office. We will be merging offices in a few weeks (beginning part of May 2017) and lay-off letters haven't even gone out. There is fear among colleagues that we will be moved to their offices and then people will be laid off shortly there after.....not the best way to handle it in my opinion.
I also am witness to A LOT of people throwing others under the bus when problems arise, placing blame, and overall underhandedness. The closer we get to the layoffs the more I see people act out and do things one wouldn't expect in a professional environment.....it sad
Also, most are on the corporate bonus plan which only paid out approx 50% or less than what it was supposed to be. What a let-down.

Thanks for the feedback. We understand the anxiety! If it helps, did you know that the new office has great amenities, like a gym, that our old office didn’t have? And with any acquisition, there... More

I have been working at LifeLock full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Love my colleagues and truly think the merge with Symantec was the best thing for the company going forward. Great benefits but that may change due to the acquisition.

    Cons

Right now, everything seems a bit stagnate after all the focus on the Symantec merge. The tech side is outdated, member site slow/not user friendly and the company is failing to market to new demographics. Hopefully this will change with the merge.

    Advice to Management

Great job with culture and developing employees. I'd suggest increasing the marketing and product design to relate more towards the current times and future generations.

    Pros

The benefits LifeLock offers are very good. Some of the best available in the Phoenix Metro area. The worksite is gorgeous and modern.

    Cons

I found it difficult to get merit increases and advancement. I found that there was a lot of favoritism and a lot of corporate politics that prevented many people that should have advanced in their careers there.

    Pros

the work life balance here is very manageable. The office environment is great.

    Cons

    Pros

LifeLock is a company that cares about its employees. In an era when a lot of companies are cutting back on the small things, LifeLock recently implemented Free Bagel Tuesdays, continues to have holiday parties and encourages team builders and employee outings. As a former employee of companies who cut those types of things out, it is those types of small things that make it easy to come to work. In addition, the career advancement at LifeLock is one of the best I have been a part of. As a leader in its industry being an employee of LifeLock is an exciting ride that allows you to see the impact of your work and know your job makes a difference.

    Cons

Having multiple locations can be tough as new employees are added in both Tempe and California.

    Advice to Management

I would tell management not to lose sight of its focus on employees.
