I worked at LifeMasters Supported SelfCare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great group of people, all working with the patient in mind. Very dedicated, knowledgeable and fun group. Strong patient focus.

    Cons

Communication between sales and development leading to over-promising. Homegrown IT system that is virtually impossible to redo without costing a TON. The company succumbed to this and a number of other problems. It's too bad.

    Pros

Close community of employees. Good place to work with interesting projects and activities. People are generally friendly and willing to work together. The company business model is very interesting an innovative.

    Cons

Bad economic times really had negative business impacts on the organization. A fair amount of downsizing occurred as a result. Significant staff cuts made it more challenging to keep up with the work and demands to keep everything afloat.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

What i liked about the company you can choose any schedule that you like. You can pretty much come and go.

    Cons

your not payed enough for what you do. Your always being looked at and monitored without knowing it. The managers suck.

    Advice to Management

    improve your feedback

    Pros

You feel like you are doing something positive for society. Most of the people you work with are friendly and committed.

    Cons

The disease management industry has been hit hard. They are shrinking, as are many companies in disease management. Too few employees means increasing load.

    Advice to Management

I'm not sure what can be done at this point -- just crossing fingers that things will turn around soon.
