I worked at LifeWatch (Less than a year)

    Pros

The only pros to working at this company is the salary. They pay very well.

    Cons

Their is a lack of substantial management there. Supervisors were lazy. Rules were inconsistent. This is the first company that I have ever worked at that couldn't care less about its employees. During my time there, many employees received unfair or undeserved write-ups and everyone there was encouraged to tell the managers of "inappropriate workplace conduct" by snooping into the personal conversations of others. This obviously created a lot of tension in the workplace which made it very uncomfortable to work there.

    Advice to Management

Clean out current management in ccc/pcc departments and also HR, because these are the people conducting and allowing unjust actions towards employees.

    Cons

    My department was phased out.

    Pros

Excellent pay, benefits and PTO. The people were great to work with. Stable environment. I see some negative reviews and wanted to balance the scale. LifeWatch was a fantastic experience for me. Excellent work-life balance.

    Cons

Some inter-departmental conflict due to petty and unnecessary power struggles. Some of the supervisory level managers are closed minded mostly because they might feel intimidated by new technology and processes so they drag their heels and constrain adoption.

    Advice to Management

Don't allow cancerous people to stay in your organization. They slow the company's performance and make the environment toxic.

I have been working at LifeWatch full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Most coworkers are friendly
    Casual fridays
Has a workout room available to everyone
Has a break room with free coffee, tea, water, fridge/freezer
Big company but coworkers feel like family eventually

    Cons

Floating shift- some days you work 6:30am-3pm and some days 2:30pm-11pm.

The pay could be better, I believe now they start people off at around $13-14.

Rules are not taken seriously and people get away with things due to favoritism.

The company is quick to throw their employees under the bus if something happens.

New technicians are not trained correctly and they mess up often; which leads to them getting written up eventually.

Unprofessional phone manners from most technicians and the company doesn't seem to care.

No room for growth. They will give you a chance at an interview for other positions but end up hiring outside of the company to people who know less than the current employees who applied.. Doesn't make sense.

Big turnover because employees are treated like children (could be due to the fact that most of them act like it)

    Gossip.

    Advice to Management

Take your employees seriously. You are losing valuable people who contributed so much to the company and you don't seem to care when they go. You are left with new technicians who are not trained thoroughly and don't know atrial fibrillation from tachycardia and it's making a mess for the older tehcnicians. Also give appropriate raises to your employees. The few extra cents that they get a year compared to the big bucks higher management gets is just sad.

I have been working at LifeWatch full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The other employees are great people

    Cons

    *Management is oblivious and arrogant
*Every person for themselves vibe, management would rather throw you under the bus than help you learn
    *No official training program
*Outdated technology in regards to their systems and product
*Extremely understaffed in all departments, they are constantly behind on all reports
    *High employee turnover

    Advice to Management

Get a whole new team in there. They push too hard to get projects done in an unrealistic time period and do not understand or care that they are too understaffed to meet thier own goals.

    Pros

Great place to work for a year no longer than that.

    Cons

Certain Managers give favor for certain employees even when employees break corporate policy guidelines this provides an unfairness for others.

    Advice to Management

    Older experience manager need!
