I worked at Lifestyle Communities full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Fast developing, so everyone gets promoted. Even when they shouldn't.

    Cons

This is one of the most awful companies I've ever worked for. They have a great vision, an interesting concept, but they are terrible at executing it. Even more, they spend money recklessly where they shouldn't like foolish marketing tactics and rebranding every year. Not to mention the poor quality construction that requires repairs almost every year on their sites. They are really good at creating an atmosphere that...

    Advice to Management

If you don't change your tactics, you won't make it in already developed cities. Also, treat your employees with some decency and respect.

      Pros

Professional development opportunities are endless if you’re hard working, motivated and willing to own your role. Leadership truly cares about everyone in the company on a personal level and genuinely values its people. I have never felt more supported by team members and leaders. If you’re motivated, not afraid to be challenged and want to come to work every day wanting to grow, this is the place for you.

      Cons

Nothing specific just growing pains as the company is growing quickly.

I worked at Lifestyle Communities full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

There are some great people that work here and a decent culture for employees. Projects are of a good scale and they are doing some exciting work with large growth ambitions.

      Cons

Employee turnover is very high in several departments. Upper management has no desire to learn from it's employees where and how to solve various problems, often greating frustration and eventual desire to look for opportunities elsewhere. Segregation beween employee levels is much higher than anywhere else I have ever worked. The work culture that is rewarded seems very much to be a "he/she who has the information...

      Advice to Management

Things like turnover, role clarity, communication are a direct relfection of how the leadership team works, especially in a small company.
