I have been working at Lifetouch full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great environment, lots of fun. Perfect for self starter

    Cons

I don't really have any cons. Pay could be better I guess, but great entry level position

    Advice to Management

Everything has been a good overall experience. Learning a lot about photography and customer service

I have been working at Lifetouch part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Competitive pay and there's potential to earn well above minimum wage.
You make your own schedule and have creative oversight of your work.

    Cons

You will not have any work in the summertime, so if you want to pay your bills, you need to have another job. It's never a guaranteed sale in photography!!! The only way to make money in this industry is to sell everything to the customer, if you don't, you won't survive.

    Advice to Management

Increase bonuses provided to people taking care of the equipment, and if it needs to be shelved because there is no work, pay us for keeping it in storage!

I worked at Lifetouch full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It was rewarding working with kids and was fun to make them smile

    Cons

Not much room for creativity, travelling from preschool to preschool is exhausting, the equipment is really cumbersome and heavy. Almost everyone I worked with experienced chronic pain due to lifting all that equipment all the time.

I have been working at Lifetouch part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The company was great, they paid for food, hotels, gas and a small phone reimbursement. My boss was clear with what was expected and nearly always available for help

    Cons

The schedule can change up to and on the day of your assignment, lots of travel, some schools are very unorganized and very stressful

    Advice to Management

Find a way to keep the schedule from changing so frequently

I worked at Lifetouch part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This job offered flexible schedules, meeting new people, very physical, always in a new environment.

    Cons

It didn't pay much, and it required a ton of driving.

    Pros

You get to meet people from all walks of life. You get to see children try to make the best smile that they can to make their parents/ family members happy.

    Cons

I don't have a downside to working with Lifetouch. But I can say that if you do not like children please do not apply. If you have a short temper when it comes to teen ageers do not apply.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work

I worked at Lifetouch full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Creative work environment
     Great for fun seekers

    Cons

Highly stressful, especially when trying to do your best work
You often stay later than expected, and sometimes you miss lunches
     Pay is not competitive

    Advice to Management

Find a better strategy to get business beyond trying to work pull ins; most employees are overworked, and tired, and just resort to doing fake sittings to hit numbers. It ends up being a waste of photography space, and photographic paper
