  • I heard it and did not believe it until after three years it reared it's ugly head: There is a Good-Ole' Boys Club there and that's a fact (in 4 reviews)

  • Somewhat disorganized and fragmented (but it's getting much better with the new management) (in 4 reviews)

    Pros

    Limelight's product is ever-changing and always interesting, the people were great and there was always something for the company to engage you and make you look forward to going to work

    The Network Operations Center (NOC) - mainly the management but also the way it is run whether it be promotions within or out of the NOC or the sheer lack of knowledge that the collective group has

    Small team with lots of learning and to be added work culture is welcoming

    Interaction with teammates is not a lot. Everyone handles individual projects.

    Very relax
    People are nice and friendly
    Project are interesting and challenge

    Don't expect to get pay much if you are applying for entry level or intern.

    Advice to Management

    Please improve the intern program so that the intern can do more meaningful projects.

    I have been working at Limelight Networks full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Very friendly environment, always feel welcomed. Free food/parking. Upper Management is always keeping us in the loop about what's going on, they seem very eager to keep the company moving in the right direction towards growth. I'm always left feeling valued and like my voice counts, which makes going to work easier every day.

    Cons

    No cons to share, this is a cool company to work for, if you work hard.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work, I'm glad to be apart of the team.

    Pros

    A wonderful company to work for. Leaving this company was one of the hardest professional decisions I had to make.

    Cons

    There has been a change of management and I hear the company is in a maintain mode and not really growing

    Lots of opportunities to learn and grow,
    The leadership has made tons of effort to make the company better and stay in the market strongly.

    Cons

    Still, better/more organized process needed in many ways.
    Benefits for international employees are not that great.

    Advice to Management

    Pay more attention to international employees especially in APAC.
    Need to present better pictures on how to stay in the market

    Pros

    Nice people, smart co-workers, relaxed work environment, unlimited PTO. If you work in the Tempe, AZ office there is free food in the cafeteria.

    Cons

    There aren't many cons that are company-wide, the cons depend on which department you work in.

    Advice to Management

    Give more training opportunities, create more career guidance, listen to your employees feedback. Keep up the good work.

    Pros

    Great benefits & compensation. Fun place to come into everyday. The products really differentiate and I learn something new everyday. The industry is growing a ton and there is a lot of opportunity for growth.

    Cons

    I'd like to see more investment in our product development which should allow us to bring new functionality quicker to market.

    Advice to Management

    Take the hard road sometimes! The Content Deliver space is growing at such a rapid pace. It's important we have the right talent across all levels of org to ensure a successful next couple years.
