I have been working at Lincoln Financial Group full-time

    Pros

LFG gives opportunities to speak with Management and Senior Leadership about concerns. They are concerned with employee satisfaction. The 401k benefit is generous at a 10% match. Employees receive 17 days PTO starting out (unless hired in at a higher PTO grade). Pay is competitive. Bonuses are given based on individual performance and profit performance. Many jobs offer flex time. Telecommuting is an option for some jobs. LFG supports the United Way and promotes diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

    Cons

The cafeteria food and vending machine food is expensive. Parts of buildings need updates. They seem to be slowly addressing the building updates.

I have been working at Lincoln Financial Group full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

This company is huge on corporate social responsibility: diversity and inclusion, philanthropy and volunteerism, and environmental sustainability. Employees tend to stay here long term due to the corporate culture. Great benefits package and flexibility for employees.

    Cons

Sometimes there is confusion around roles and responsibilities and lack of direction. Pay could be better. Some managers micromanage which can be frustrating.

    Advice to Management

Choose leaders that have the same values as the company in order to meet strategic goals. Pay should be competitive, which it is not currently (at least in Concord, NH). The annual review process can be improved - it should be based solely on employee performance, not judged against other employees.
