    Pros

There are no pros of working in the long term disability or short term disability all call center Department just a paycheck

    Cons

Certain rules only apply to certain managers and certain co-workers if you're not in that group you will not have a successful career or work-life balance. Managers do not support you as a person or your career goals only themselves

    Advice to Management

Start listening to your employees and actually take what they're saying into consideration it may help the overall low morale in that horrible Atlanta Georgia office

    Pros

Management does go the extra to make it a fun environment and brings food in for overtime hours. Benefits are good. If you participate in their health program you will get discount on insurance if you meet the goals. very easy to meet. They are a very positive company for diversity and you can learn about other cultures if you attend the meetings.. They encourage you to be involved in your community.

    Cons

Not flexible on work schedules, no short weeks , only a few get to work from home. Numbers are most important to some managers. You get an occurance if you have a family emergency even if time is made up , but this does not apply to supervisors.

    Advice to Management

Be more flexible, offer better work schedules. Really try to assist your employees to suceed and investigate and reolve their concerns.

I have been working at Lincoln Financial Group full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I've worked at Lincoln for over 15 years, and I can honestly say that they live and breathe their commitment to honesty, integrity, confidentiality, diversity, and giving back to the community. They take their reputation seriously and it is truly a great company to work for.

The salary is competitive-ish, but the benefits are top-notch: 401(k) with company matching *plus* a pension plan, several medical plans including a premium Blue Cross plan, dental/eye/disability insurance, generous vacation time, even pet insurance. There's probably about 100 other benefits I'm forgetting about - really, there are a lot!

The people are a great part of LFG. There really is a culture of respect and professionalism, and the people are by-and-large very nice. And if you ever end up in a situation you're not happy with, they are very supportive of finding a new position within the company.

    Cons

Like most of large corporations, LFG has a lot of bureaucracy and red tape that makes it frustrating to move nimbly. They do try, but they are a massive, conservative financial services company so you can only expect so much.

Also, like most large companies, the work/life balance tends to tip in favor of "work".

    Advice to Management

Make sure your employees' work/life balance is taken seriously. Pulling "all-night"-er to implement software might be OK once in a while, but every other weekend needs to stop.
