    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Lincoln Financial Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Salary, benefits, and investment in employees

    Cons

Immature technology infrastructure, resources and especially leadership. Overall, poor leadership and highly passive aggressive environment.

    Advice to Management

Accept what you don't know and leverage those resources who have more technology experience. There is a difference in the "what" and the "how". You need to get out of your own way. Lack of good decision making within the Senior Leadership Team.

    Pros

Variety of duties, ability to work from home, flexible hours, good benefits and time off, promotes furthering education by providing internal classes and tuition reimbursement and supports the community.

    Cons

Departments aren't always held to the same standards, depending on the division and unit employed in favorites drive the ship instead of the managers, feels more like a robotic paper factory than a company that sees their employees as people, some production units aren't able to leave the office until all work received that day has been completed, expectations can be unrealistic and usually have to leave a division or the company to get a decent increase in pay.

    Advice to Management

Remember that employees are the backbone of the company and everyone deserves to be treated like a person with the same opportunities. It's okay to reward all employees for a job well done instead of only the employees that are nominated.
