Pros
PTO and Salary with remote work.
Cons
If you are hired in the claims department, understand now that you will be over-worked and if landing the wrong manager, micro managed as well. They pay well because of such a hire turnover rate. You are expected to be able to handle a high call volume with everyone calling in trying to reach their own case managers along with trying to handle your own cases and reach out to treating providers offices to get information. If you can't multi task or pick up the job quickly be ready for serious burn out. Remote is nice but management will treat that as you have no problem working past your scheduled hours before and after. If your manager notices you're doing well be prepared for your case load to start getting higher and higher. They make a big deal about a decent work/life balance but in reality there is none.

Great culture, opportunity for advancement, great leadership.
Cons
Busy season is rough, employees get slowed too thin. Work life balance in this time is non-existent.

All inclusive company who takes pride in diversity. Benefits are amazing. I have the best superior who listens and provides guidance when needed. I feel like an important part of the "big picture".
Cons
COVID has brought challenges. Work load increased and manpower decreased. Expectations are high but fair. Work life balance could be looked at more closely

Compensation Tuition Reimbursement Great people to work with
Cons
(may no longer be the case at the time of this review as the managers are no longer in place) When I was hired I was asked if working overtime would be an issue; a reasonable person would interpret that to be occassional ;but for years this was weekly whether warrented or not. Employees are significantly underappreciated- when goals are met the response is 'higher higher' auditing is inconsistant scores seem somewhat based on whether you attempted to appeal findings from the previous auditing cycle. Intimedating middle management- 1 talks down to employees and avoids contact if at all possible, the other makes unrealistic demands and as a result many employees are depressed and are ridden with stress related disorders/diseases Horrible workforce planning - either made to work too much overtime or do 50 hours of work in 40 in which scenario work quality goes down but the reprimands of such are not taken into consideration with work load. No consideration for work/life balance

Overall atmosphere of the company

not much I can think of but a great benefits package
Cons
Directors are horrible, they don't trust their managers! If you voice your concerns directors say you are whining. Directors and AVPs don't show enough support to other offices! How can you effectively run a office by coming into town once a month! Not enough job opportunities in the Atlanta office! The Omaha office thinks they are the center of excellence! The turn over is extremely high and the Atlanta off will be loosing more employees due to the work load! The organization preaches work life balance but that's not true! Brokers, sales reps, and account managers are rude and sometimes use bad language to managers. This company is so unorganized, no one knows who to go to for help!

Pros
Benefits are good, the price you pay for them is not.
Cons
Managers who don't know how to manage; no availability to anyone in management because they are always in meetings - this company has meetings to talk about meeting. You will have no work life balance at all!
