Lincoln Financial has a great work life balance, in IT at least. Work from home is flexible and allowed to be used when desired. The company offers/sponsors very competitive benefits packages, including pet insurance. IT Senior management appears devoted to transparency, with weekly Q&A sessions.
Cons
The paid time off accrual is a little lower than some other competitors. Bonus amounts are good but there are irregularities between who earns what size of bonus.

Phenomenal 401k plan and great benefits. Good PTO allowance and holidays. Ability to work from home and it recently went from business casual to allowing us to wear jeans any day.
Cons
Sometimes hard to move positions internally.

Work Life Balance is great
Cons
They are a great company to work for - you can work from home when you need to and they understand that work is done during business hours. If you happen to answer emails at night, that's fine, but it's never expected.

Pros
Excellent growth opportunities and outstanding benefits. Most departments have flexible work schedule and some even offer the opportunity to work from home.
Cons
It can be hard to get in the door. Most people have to take a low level job, work for a year, and then have the opportunity to move up very quickly.
