Excellent work life balance with flex work arrangements and a corporate casual environment
Cons
Reorganizations and Restructuring almost yearly so it is very difficult to exceed objectives when the role and management structure is continually changing

The great benefits may not be enough for this company

Benefits are great! The management tries to engage employees. There are some great managers. Work life balance is excellent in some departments and completely non-existent in others.
Cons
Little room for advancement, employees applying to internal jobs are treated poorly.
- Former Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
PTO and Salary with remote work.
Cons
If you are hired in the claims department, understand now that you will be over-worked and if landing the wrong manager, micro managed as well. They pay well because of such a hire turnover rate. You are expected to be able to handle a high call volume with everyone calling in trying to reach their own case managers along with trying to handle your own cases and reach out to treating providers offices to get information. If you can't multi task or pick up the job quickly be ready for serious burn out. Remote is nice but management will treat that as you have no problem working past your scheduled hours before and after. If your manager notices you're doing well be prepared for your case load to start getting higher and higher. They make a big deal about a decent work/life balance but in reality there is none.

Work Life Balance is great
Cons
They are a great company to work for - you can work from home when you need to and they understand that work is done during business hours. If you happen to answer emails at night, that's fine, but it's never expected.

Overall atmosphere of the company

not much I can think of but a great benefits package
Cons
Directors are horrible, they don't trust their managers! If you voice your concerns directors say you are whining. Directors and AVPs don't show enough support to other offices! How can you effectively run a office by coming into town once a month! Not enough job opportunities in the Atlanta office! The Omaha office thinks they are the center of excellence! The turn over is extremely high and the Atlanta off will be loosing more employees due to the work load! The organization preaches work life balance but that's not true! Brokers, sales reps, and account managers are rude and sometimes use bad language to managers. This company is so unorganized, no one knows who to go to for help!

Pros
Benefits are good, the price you pay for them is not.
Cons
Managers who don't know how to manage; no availability to anyone in management because they are always in meetings - this company has meetings to talk about meeting. You will have no work life balance at all!
