I worked at Lincoln Financial Media full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

benefits, work environment, non-management employees, perks

    Cons

management on every level, local and corporate, salary, treatment of employees, upward mobility

    Advice to Management

Try to listen to your employees and their suggestions. Many have years and years of experience and this should mean something to you. Have staff meetings for new ideas and new opportunities. Don't get bogged down in the past and the way things "used to get done". Overhaul the sales department to ensure fairness and equal opportunities. Institute a separate digital department with the power to get things done. Digital is not the future... it's the NOW.

I worked at Lincoln Financial Media full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

AMAZING benefits package. There are SOME great people who work here. Great radio properties with potential for growth. The Program Directors are awesome, but limited due to management.

    Cons

The new management that was brought in three years ago came from a much smaller out-of-state market and they are a little overwhelmed by the San Diego landscape. San Diego is a unique market. Management reduced staff dramatically to save money, however it is apparent that this has compromised efficiency and individual performance. Sales department is unorganized, underwhelmed and in a state of confusion due to management choices and changes.

    Advice to Management

Happy employees work harder and stronger for you, until then, you'll never turn that ship around!
