I worked at Lincoln Tech full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Help people because it's a school. Unique challenges, lots of teamwork. Very much caters to the student. Lots of cross training.

    Cons

Some limitations because it's a school (FERPA). Because there is lots of cross training, sometimes have to pick up the slack of people who would rather jaw jack.

    Advice to Management

A good manager recognizes those who contribute the most. Take them under your wing to make them the next generation of good managers. For-profit education is one industry that would benefit from promoting from within.
